Hmm. Well, I be needing to update this here info box don't I? Well, why am I asking you? If you're reading this then chances are you don't know me. I am the Phoenix. Or rather, the phoenix is my avatar. The phoenix used to mean more to me, but for some reason, it has, of late had less importance. My info used to read:

"The phoenix is more than a mere avatar for me, it represents my life. Like the phoenix I continually arise from ashes greater than before. Actually, what I do is continually learn new things about myself and try to correct any flaws I might have. Hence why the Phoenix accurately represents me: I am continually reborn as I learn new things."

While this is still true I know see it as a function of giving myself to God. I'm a college student, studing computer science with a minor in art. Stuffo. My catch sound is "muku muku" (10+ coolness points if you know where that's from). As you could probably tell from my earlier comment, I am a Christain and make no bones about it. I don't hide it and I'm not going to play that silly "Don't ask about religion and don't tell" thing. I am what I am and I'm not ashamed of it, so don't expect me to edit anything to keep it politically correct. If you happen to be one of those who is easily offended, then prepare to be constantly offended as I overwhelm you with thoughts, ideas, and beliefs that aren't allowed to be uttered on tv. Let's get something clear here:

1. I hate cowardice. There are times when it can be excused, but to not do something just because you're afraid is no excuse. It's no better to do something and hide your face, either. I despise that too.
   
2. I love truth. The stereotype of a Christian is someone not very bright who makes up what ever lies they need to to justify their beliefs, but let me assure you that you don't know truth until you know God. Once you know God, things just start to make sense. Moreover a very big part of Christianity is accepting what you are. By that I mean putting aside the lies we tell ourselves, and shining light on that which has remained dark about ourselves. I've seen how God works in my life to show me my flaws and weaknesses and what I need to improve upon and things I never realized about myself, and I'm glad for that. Why? Because I am the phoenix.
   
3. I come off as harsh, both to myself at times and especially to others. Why? Because I just do. *shrug* I don't tolerate excuses from myself, so I don't tolerate it from others either. I try to, but it isn't always effective.
   
4. I'm actually a really nice guy. Seriously! Despite number 3, I still have compassion for people. Sometimes more than they have for themselves.
   
5. These cookies 25% fat. But they taste so good!!! How can I say no?? *eats cookies*
   

So yeah. I assure you, that if you've read the info this far, you'll probably find my journal at least mildly interesting. Well, for a few minutes, then you'll come to your senses and go do something productive. Like eating cookies.
